■研究関心
木質材料に必須の合成樹脂を使用しないバインダーレス接着の機構解明・汎用化を目指しています。木材だけでなく、ケナフやジュートなどの草本植物や、イナワラ・ムギワラ・オイルパーム等の廃棄バイオマスなどを積極的に原料に活用しています。原料調整から材料製造、性能試験、成分分析、形態観察まで一貫して行うことで、未利用バイオマスに、環境負荷の低い新たなマテリアル化の道筋を示すべく研究しています。
